  • Popis: Carnival week in Turin. The painter Marcello leaves his companion Giulia at home to meet his beautiful neighbour Lucy, disguised as Pierette. That very night, as the two are at the ball, Lucy’s mother doesn’t feel well and calls for help. Giulia quickly assists her. The dying woman mistakes Giulia for her daughter. This fragment shows the sequence in Piazza Vittorio Veneto transformed into a giant luna park. The video is a copy from the film print held by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema and previously restored by the EYE Filmmuseum.
